Hello - this is the online portfolio for me, George Smyth.

Here you can find a range of projects I have worked on in my many years in this wonderful industry.

My experience has included art direction, 2D/3D motion graphics, VFX, rotoscoping, compositing, dynamic simulations, particle animations, 2D/3D camera tracking, and more. With outputs for TV, cinema, DOOH, social, and web. 

I’m a pro in After Effects and associated plugins and scripts, Cinema 4D and it’s plugins, Premiere, Photoshop & Illustrator.

I have practical experience using AI, with weavy, including for Slack and a few things at JKR.

Give me shout if you've had a project come in that I can help out on. I can come in at an early stage to help design and storyboard, or later in the process to bring that lovely creative you've already worked up, to life. I like to get stuck in, work fast, work tidy, and have fun.

I’ve been freelance most of my career, so I am well equipped to slot in to any team and hit the ground running.

I'm available for freelance work in and around Manchester, or remotely from my home studio in north Derbyshire.
